| Welcome to Roatan Island One of three Bay Islands off the Caribbean coast of Honduras, Roatan Island presents beautiful beaches, where sand and rain forest meet to create dramatic vistas. History of Roatan Island Roatan Island's history, which written records have beginning during the Maya reign in Central America (between the 4th and 10th centuries), reads like a tennis match. Possession of Roatan Island alternated between Spain, England and various pirates, buccaneers, and privateers many times over beginning nearly 500 years after the indigenous inhabitants of Roatan Island,the Payas, were enslaved and relocated by the Spanish. Many well known seafarers such as Christopher Columbus and Henry Morgan took part in creating today's population on Roatan Island. People of Spanish,English and Caribbean/African decent comprise the majority of Roatan's population. Although Spanish is the national language and is spoken on Roatan, English can also be heard. Roatan Island Accomodations It is said that Roatan Island is not as "touristy" as many Caribbean islands, but you will find plenty of activities and things to see and learn about Roatan & Honduran culture in general. | Dreams .....Do Come True !!! Within 24 Hours.......I Have a Beautiful "Comatose" Restraunt Ovetlooking the Western Carribean.... Spirit, once again....BLESSES' me ! From sleeping on the stone...and, every other hard surface, for the last year. I'm NOW laying in a Beautiful Cabana. I have my own private....in my room....Bath...Shower... Soft Bed....Softer Pillows....Fan..... A Deck with a Huge Hammock....above a "Dead Dive Shop" .... !0 Feet from the waters edge.....And a 100 feet pier...right in front.... Where the Sun Sets.....And "Her Rays Shine"....Straight on it.... Like the "Road to God....is at the "Beginning....of the end"....of "My Pier" and, dissapears, into a horizon of multi-colored....streams of "Light" !!! Ye God..HOU Ah ! The owner....has "GIVEN"....ALL....To Me...To....MANAGE... CAPTAIN & BRING TO..."LIFE"!!! AND, it comes with.....Get This>>>10 Beautiful Quint,,,Rustic.... Different Colored....Cabanas & Cottages....dotting the plantation hill above. <><><O><><> I shaved my Beard off yesterday....Still unravel ling my matted dreads. Took off all except my....Eagle Conch Necklace !!! Ear-rings..Bells...Whistles...Beads...Feathers... & Rainbow Bands. And, I even washed the "Rainbow Peace Paint...Medicine Wheel"...from my left foot !!! <><><O><><> Big SHIFT !!!! I'M Back....many times lost & found....
